Iffraaj’s high-class son My Prospero notched his fourth Stakes victory on Saturday, 24 August, when taking the G3 Winter Hill Stakes at Windsor. Always prominent in the ten furlong contest, he had a sustained battle in the straight with Certain Lad, eventually running out a neck winner with three-and-a-half lengths back to the third.
Lightly raced for a five-year-old, he was winning for the fifth time in 13 starts including victories in the G2 Prix Eugene Adam and a brace of Listed races in the Heron and Foundation Stakes.
Owned and bred by Sunderland Holdings, My Prospero is a half-brother to Dubawi’s G2-winning son My Oberon, and out of the Group-winning mare My Titania.
Iffraaj has now sired nine Stakes winners this season including G1 Lockinge hero Audience, G2 Wellington Guineas heroine Grail Seeker and multiple Group-winner Western Empire.
