Earthlight sired his first Stakes winner in Australia on Saturday,12 April when his first-crop daughter Petit Artiste ran away with the Without Fear Stakes. Run over 1050m at Morphettville, the improving juvenile was winning for the first time after a third on her pervious start.
Bred by DG Love in Victoria, Petite Artiste is a daughter of the More Than Ready mare Little Artist, a multiple winner who has produced four previous winners.
Petit Artiste is one of 30 winners sired by Earthlight in his fledgling career including the consistent G3 winner Daylight, who was also placed in the G1 Prix Morny and Cheveley Park Stakes, and a very quick Mr Lightside, third in the G3 Molecomb at Glorious Goodwood.
