Economics, Night Of Thunder’s exciting three-year-old son, maintained his perfect season on Thursday, 15 August when landing the G2 Prix Guillaume d'Ornano. Run over 2000m at Deauville, he made a withering run in the straight to record a two-length triumph, with six lengths back to the third.
Oh he's good! 🙌

The lightly raced colt has now won all three of his starts in 2024, adding to his maiden triumph at Newbury and the G2 Dante Stakes at York in May.
Bred by Copgrove Hall Stud and a 160,000gns yearling, Economics is one of two winners bred out of the multiple G2-winning mare La Pomme d’Amore.
Night Of Thunder has been enjoying an excellent season, siring 14 Stakes winners including US G2-winning filly Dynamic Pricing, the impressive unbeaten Royal Ascot G3 winner Fairy Godmother, and Listed winning three-year-old colts Ombudsman and Al Musmak.
Another young stallion enjoying a fruitful spell is Pinatubo, and he sired winners at both Chepstow and Salisbury within the space of 15 minutes.
First to strike was Lady Luzon at Chepstow, winning for the second time in a five-furlong Nursery. This was soon followed by Qilin Queen, who took Pinatubo’s winner tally to 10 with a victory in a £40,000 Fillies’ Novice at Salisbury.
Pinatubo has some exciting first-crop juveniles likely to contest Stakes races in the coming weeks; Wolf Of Badenoch, last seen when second in the G2 Vintage Stakes, unbeaten colt Andesite and Cavallo Bay, winner of his last two starts and likely to head to the US for Group race at Saratoga later this month.
