Europe's current leading sire Slickly has been enjoying an outstanding year so far, and his three-year-old son Gris Tendre continued his winning ways on 24 March with victory in the Listed Prix Omnium II, run over a mile at Saint-Cloud.
The colt is now unbeaten in three starts this year and has not finished out of the first three throughout his racing career. He was last seen winning the Listed Prix de la Californie at Cagnes-sur-Mer on 10 February and is one of three Black type peformers for his sire this year. Just two weeks ago, his paternal half-brother Gris de Gris recorded his second Stakes win of the year and fourth Black type win overall when landing the Prix Altipan over today's course and distance.
A World Champion miler and four-time G1 winner himself, Slickly stands at Haras du Logis at a fee of €8,000, October 1st SLF.
