The Andre Fabre trained Only Answer won her first Pattern Race when victorious in the G3 Prix de Saint-Georges at Longchamp.
The Green Desert four-year-old appreciated the strong early pace and faster ground to score readily from Mood Music. This victory took her tally to four wins from eight starts, which already included a Listed triumph in 2007 at Deauville.
Bred and owned by the Wertheimer brothers she is out of the excellent mare Occupandiste, who was a dual G1 winner herself, and has produced G2 winner Impressionnante. Her family is one of the best around with close relatives including Elnadim, Timber Country and Dubai Millennium. A place at her owner’s paddocks looks assured when her racing days are over.
