Daring Tiger becomes latest Stakes winner for Tiger Hill; Say No Now (Refuse To Bend) gains her first Black type

Three-year-old Tiger Hill colt Daring Tiger became the latest Stakes winner for his sire on 21 May when landing the Listed Grosser Preis der Sparkasse Dortmund in Germany.

Landing the ten-furlong contest by a neck from Panyu, Daring Tiger added his first win at Stakes level having finished second in the G3 Dr Busch Memorial earlier this year. His record now reads three starts for two wins and one second.

Owned and bred by Gestut Ammerland, Daring Tiger is out of the winning Sadler’s Wells mare Denial, herself a half-sister to G1 winner Light Jig.

Also on Thursday, Say No Now (Refuse To Bend) gained her first Black type when third in the Listed Height Of Fashion Stakes at Goodwood. The David Lanigan-trained filly, last seen winning impressively over a mile at Nottingham, has won or been placed on each of her four starts.
