Toughness Danon, a three-year-old son of Tiger Hill, recorded his first win in select company on Wednesday with a length and three-quarters victory in the G3 Furstenberg-Rennen at Baden-Baden.
The Stiftung Gestut Fahrhof-bred colt, who is trained by Andreas Wohler, ran third in the G1 German Derby on his last start and has finished runner-up on three other occasions, including in a Listed event at Hannover.
Toughness Danon, who is the 24th Stakes winner for his sire, is out of the Acatenango mare Templerin, who was second in the G2 Darley Premio Lydia Tesio in 2003.
