Dubawi's four-year-old daughter Dubawi Heights put forward a visually stunning performance October 1 at Santa Anita with a victory in the G1 Yellow Ribbon Stakes. It was the second G1 score for the talented turf runner who also took the G1 Gamely Stakes at Hollywood Park in May of this year.
During the one and one-quarter mile turf event Dubawi Heights settled smartly in second just off the pace. Awaiting the right moment under a beautiful hold, Dubawi Heights was cut loose in the top of the lane where there was no turning back and the filly coasted to an effortless victory.
Dubawi Heights was bred by Aston Mullins Stud and is out of the Suave Dancer mare Rosie's Posy, who is a half-sister to G1 winner Tante Rose. The mare has a two-year-old Cape Cross colt named Red Coast, a 190,000 Gns yearling in 2010.
A tremendous young stallion, Dubawi is the sire of six G1 winners to date. In addition to Dubawi Heights his top runners in 2011 include G1 Deutsches Derby winner Waldpark. He is also he sire of fantastic runners Poet's Voice and Makfi, among many others.
