Iffraaj is enjoying an outstanding season with his first runners and their winning ways continued on 6 July when Handsome Jack justified favouritism to take the seven-furlong maiden at Wolverhampton.
Never far from the pace, Handsome Jack was ridden along a furlong from home and demonstrated an impressive turn of foot to win going away by a length and a quarter.
Bred by Louis Walshe, Handsome Jack is out of the winning Persian Heights mare Alexanders Way, now dam of four winners including Stakes-placed colt Il Sovietico. The mare is herself a daughter of Mill Path, making her a half-sister to three Black type performers including Queen's View - dam of Sheikh Mohammed's UAE-bred G1 winner Campsie Fells.
Iffraaj has now sired 13 individual winners plus Free Art, who was recently placed in the Listed Golden Fleece Stakes at Leopardstown.
