The first reported foal by Darley stallion Creachadoir has arrived.
The bay foal, described as a 'big strong filly with quality' by owner Thierry de la Herroniere was born at Haras de Ellon on 2 February.
She is out of the Woodman mare Napeta, who has produced two winners to date and is herself a daughter of G3 performer Blue Burgee. They are from the family of Creachadoir's own paternal grandsire, Kingmambo.
Creachadoir, who stands at Haras du Logis at a fee of €3,000 October 1st terms, was a Classic miler at three who was beaten just a short head in the G1 Hong Kong Mile at the end of that year. He went on to land the G1 Lockinge Stakes at four and was rewarded with a strong book of 110 mares during his first season at stud.
