King's Best took his tally of Group winners to 22 on Saturday July 30, when his three-year-old daughter Dalarua landed the G3 Prix de Psyche at Deauville. Run over it's 2000m turf course, she got home from Dream Peace by the shortest of margins and took her tally to two victories in a five-race career.

Owned and bred by Haras de la Perelle, she is out of the winning mare Djenanne and from the family of G1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud victor, Shaka.

King's Best, who stands in France at Haras du Logis, was Europe's leading stallion through worldwide earnings in 2010, when he sired the winners of the Epsom Derby (Workforce) and the Japanese Derby (Eishin Flash). His first French-bred crop are yearlings this year and he has a strong book consigned at the upcoming Arqana yearling sales, where 12 are due to come under the hammer.
