Ancient Wisdom, a three-year-old son of Dubawi, landed his first victory of 2024 on Thursday, 11 July when landing the G3 Bahrain Trophy at Newmarket. Sent straight to the front under jockey William Buick, he never saw another rival, quickening away to win by one-and-three-quarter lengths.

Now the winner of five of his eight career starts, Ancient Wisdom landed the G3 Autumn Stakes before taking the G1 Futurity Trophy at Doncaster last October.
Bred by Ecurie des Monceaux and LNJ Foxwoods, Ancient Wisdom is a son of the G3-winning Dalakhani mare Golden Valentine, who is a relative of the great Goldikova.
Dubawi is now the sire of 13 Group winners in 2024, more than any stallion in the world. They include four that have won at the highest level. His three-year-olds Notable Speech and Ezeliya were the thrilling winner of the 2,000 Guineas and Oaks, Rebel’s Romance has won G1’s in both UAE and Hong Kong, plus Master Of The Seas landed the G1 Maker’s Mark Mile at Keeneland in April.
