Sons of Dubawi filled the first two places in the Group 2 Al Maktoum Classic at Meydan’s Super Saturday fixture on Saturday, 2 March, as Military Law bravely held on to win his third Black Type race from the fast finishing Walk Of Stars.
Trained by Musabbeh Al Mheiri, Military Law jumped well and was soon settled in fourth, travelling strongly under Oscar Chavez, he began to make progress at the 1000m marker and hit the front with just over 700m to run. Walk Of Stars came with a late challenge but Military Law wasn’t to be denied and went on to score by a length in the 1900m dirt contest.
