Boogie Woogie, a three-year-old daughter of Dubawi, won her first Stakes race on Sunday, 22 October in the Listed Trigo Stakes. Handling the deep ground at Leopardstown, she ran on well to record a three-quarter-of-a-length victory over Sunchart, a son of Teofilo.
Bred by Coolmore, Boogie Woogie is a daughter of the fantastic Galileo mare Seventh Heaven, a Champion in her three-year-old season in 2016 with victories in the G1 Irish Oaks and G1 Yorkshire Oaks.
Dubawi has now sired 35 Stakes winners in 2023 including seven that have won at the highest level. They include star miler Modern Games, who will stand alongside his father at Dalham Hall Stud in 2024, and unbeaten juvenile Henry Longfellow, bred on the same cross as Boogie Woogie, the winner of the G1 National Stakes at the Curragh.
