Dubawi’s three-year-old son Dubawi Legend gained a first Group victory on Sunday, 28 August when landing the G3 Goldene Peitsche at Baden-Baden. Run over 1200m, the Hugo Palmer-trained colt made all the running to win with something to spare.
Bred by Rabbah and owned by Dr. Ali Ridha, Dubawi Legend is a son of the Classic-winning Raven’s Pass mare Lovely Pass. Already the dam of four winners, Lovely Pass also has a yearling filly by Night Of Thunder and a colt foal by Ghaiyyath.
Dubawi has now sired 35 Stakes winners in 2022 including six that have struck at the highest level. Three-year-olds Coroebus and Modern Games both won Classic’s, Lord North and In Italian won in Dubai and the US respectively, Naval Crown landed the G1 Platinum Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot, and Rebel’s Romance won his G1 earlier this month in Germany.
