Creative Force and Naval Crown, both three-year-old sons of Dubawi, dominated the G3 Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot to give their sire a notable forecast. Drawn on different sides of the track, Naval Crown led the stands-side group, eventually beating them with ease.
Naval Crown though could not cope with the finishing kick of Creative Force, who stormed clear of the horses he raced against, eventually winning by one-and-a-quarter lengths. Vadream, a daughter of Brazen Beau, ran on from the back of the field to finish third, giving Darley stallions the 1-2-3.
The progressive Creative Force has now won five of his six career starts including a three-length listed victory in the Carnarvon Stakes at Newbury.
Bred by Owenstown Bloodstock and a €400,000 yearling, Creative Force is a half-brother to five winners including the Champion mare Persuasive, winner of the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot. Their dam, Choose Me, was a Stakes winner in the Listed Fairy Bridge Stakes.
Dubawi has sired 21 Stakes winners in 2021, more than any other European stallion. They are led by Dubai G1 scorer Lord North, G2 winner Kemari, who landed the Queen’s Vase earlier in the week at Royal Ascot, and G2 UAE Derby hero Rebel’s Romance.
