Creative Force, (Dubawi) maintained his unbeaten streak this season adding a first Stakes victory in the Listed Carnarvon Stakes over six furlongs at Newbury on Saturday, 15 May.
Breaking well before tracking the leaders early, the three-year-old showed an excellent turn of foot, quickening away well with a furlong to travel. Pulling clear under jockey James Doyle, Creative Force cruised to an easy victory with his nearest rival Spycatcher a full three lengths behind.
Bred by Owenstown Stud and purchased for €400,000 at the Goffs Orby Sale, Creative Force is a half-brother to G1 Queen Elizabeth II winner Persuasive and the Listed-winning Tisbutadream. They are out of the Listed-winning Choisir mare Choose Me, herself a half-sister to Exceed And Excel’s Listed six furlong winner Shanghai Glory. This is the direct family of G1 Irish One Thousand Guineas winner Cairn Rouge.
Creative Force is the 16th Stakes winner of 2021 for his sensational sire Dubawi, who just last month celebrated his 200th individual Stakes winner, becoming the first British-based sire to do so. Among Dubawi’s Stakes winners this season are G1 Dubai Turf winner Lord North and G3 Prix Penelope heroine Philomene, who contests the G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches tomorrow at Longchamp.
