Buratino’s successful first season continued on Monday, 5 October when his daughter Buratina Coole was victorious at Sassari in Italy.
In winning the seven-and-a-half-furlong contest by two lengths, she became the 10th individual winner for her sire.
Buratina Coole was bred in Ireland by A M F Persse and is the first foal out of Lady Coole (Thousand Words), from the family of multiple Group winner Donatela Bela.
Buratino is also sire of multiple winner Snapraeterea, who was third in the G2 Beresford Stakes late last month.
