Teofilo recorded a new Stakes winner on Thursday, 21 May when his four-year-old daughter Satomi landed the Listed Hein Bollow Memorial. Winning her second career race, she easily scored by two lengths in the 2200m contest run at Hannover in Germany.
Bred by Gestüt Wittekindshof and owned by Stall Helena, Satomi is a daughter of the Haafhd mare Swordhalf, who was crowned Champion juvenile filly in Germany in 2012 after winning the G3 Preis der Winterkonigin.
Teofilo has now sired four Stakes winners on the year including last week's French Listed scorer Saiga. His biggest performer so far of 2020 is G1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup hero Exultant, who bids to repeat his 2019 triumph in the Champions & Chater Cup at Sha Tin on Sunday.
