Night Of Thunder, who made such a sensational start at stud last year, added a remarkable ninth Black Type winner to his record on Sunday, 17 May when his three-year-old daughter No Limit Credit took the G3 Schwarzgold Rennen in Cologne.
Settled in third during the early stages of the one-mile contest, the Andreas Suborics-trained filly moved up to second with four furlongs left to run. Picking up well once entering the home straight, No Limit Credit battled superbly during the closing stages to win by half a length from Democracy.
No Limit Credit won twice at two, including a valuable sales race at Baden-Baden last October. She is now favourite to take the G2 German 1,000 Guineas, due to take place on Saturday, 20 June.
Bred by Gestüt Karlshof, No Limit Credit is out of the winning Barathea mare Nasrine and is from the family of French Derby winner Natroun.
Night Of Thunder, whose percentage of first-crop Stakes winners cannot be beaten by any other European stallion, is also sire of G2 Premio Dormello winner Night Colours, plus fellow Group winners Pocket Square and Under The Stars.
