Military Law, a four-year-old son of Dubawi, claimed a first Stakes success when taking the Listed Entisar over a mile and two furlongs at Meydan on Thursday, 5 December. Prominent throughout, the British bred son of Dubawi was switched wide on the home turn, storming past former G1 Dubai World Cup second Gronkowski to win comfortably under jockey Antonio Fresu.
Bred by Qatar Bloodstock, Military Law is a half-brother to the Listed-winning Marina Piccola, dam of dual G1 victor French King, and full-brother to G3 UAE Two Thousand Guineas third Wednaan. They are out of the G3-winning Desert Prince mare Marine Bleue and from the family of G1 winners Mirio and Nahoodh. Military Law becomes the 38th Black Type winner for Dubawi in 2019.
Dubawi is also the sire of 41 individual G1 winners, four of which have struck this season including Prix Jean Romanet heroine Coronet and Sussex Stakes victor and new Darley stallion Too Darn Hot.
