Farhh’s impressive three-year-old son King Of Change became his sires first top-flight winner on Saturday, 19 October when easily winning the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes on Champions Day at Ascot. Making smooth headway under jockey Sean Levey, he ran on well in the testing conditions to record a one and a quarter length victory over The Revenant (Dubawi) with Safe Voyage (Fast Company) a further length and a half back in third.
The lightly-raced colt, who was only making his sixth career start, has never finished outside the first two. He was second in the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket back in May and landed the Listed Fortune Stakes on his previous start in September.
King Of Change is a half-brother to G1-miler Century Dream (Cape Cross), who was placed in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes last season. His dam, the Echo Of Light mare Salacia, is a daughter of the Group winner Neptune’s Bride.
Farhh is the sire of an impressive 18% Stakes horses to runners from his first two crops. He is also the sire of top-class stayer Dee Ex Bee and Group winners Nocturnal Fox and Wells Farhh Go.
