The daughter of Night Of Thunder was always travelling strongly in the testing conditions under jockey Oisin Murphy, and after cruising to the front two furlongs from home, only had to be nudged out to the line to record a one and a quarter length victory.
Bred by Petches Farm Ltd and purchased for 120,000Gns as a foal, her dam Devotion was G3-placed and from the extended family of Classic winner Make Believe and multiple G1-winner Dubawi Heights (Dubawi).
Dubai Love becomes winner number 24 for her prolific sire Night Of Thunder. At an imperious 63% winners to runners, he not only leads all other first-season stallions but all other juvenile sires in the northern hemisphere that have had at least 25 runners. He has sired six Group or Stakes performers including winners Under The Stars, Molatham and Thunderous.
