Fountain Of Time, a four-year-old filly by Iffraaj trained in France by Henri-Alex Pantall, gained a valuable Stakes victory when winning the Listed Preis des Gestüt Röttgen over a mile at Hoppegarten. Making most of the running, her large advantage was slowly eroded in the final 200 metres, holding on gamely to beat Nica.
Out of the Stakes-placed mare Key To Peace (Kheleyf), Fountain Of Time is a half-sister to this season’s winning three-year-old filly Key To Power (Slade Power).
Fountain Of Time was the third Stakes winner on the weekend for Iffraaj after Who Dares Wins in New Zealand and Hostess at Santa Anita, who landed the G3 Providencia Stakes on her first US start. He has also sired the impressive G2 Zabeel Mile hero Mythical Magic, who heads next to the G1 Lockinge Stakes at Newbury.
