Time To Choose, a wonderfully consistent son of Manduro, landed his seventh Stakes race on Sunday, 16 December when taking the Listed Premio U.N.I.R.E over 2250m at Naples in Italy. Facing a drop in class, he had no trouble giving weight to inferior opposition, winning easily by two and a half lengths.
Now the winner of 11 career races, Time To Choose has won on his last five starts when dropped into Listed company. His biggest career triumph came last year when taking the G2 Premio Presidente della Repubblica.
Bred by Razza del Velino SRL, Time To Choose is a son of the Stakes-placed Orpen mare Penfection, who has produced three Stakes performers including Baby Revolution and Belly To Belly (Dubawi).
Manduro has sired seven Stakes winners on the year, in seven different countries. Vazirabad remains France’s premier stayer after victories in the G2 Dubai Gold Cup and Prix Vicomtesse Viguer, three-year-old colt Pharrell landed the G3 Prix Noailles, Plein Air is a Stakes-winner at Santa Anita, Square de Luynes won the Listed Norsk Derby and Duretto landed the Chester Stakes before running a close fourth in the G1 Caulfield Cup.
He will be standing this coming season at a fee of €7,000, Oct 1, SLF.
