High As A Kite, winner of the Listed Norsk Derby last season, landed her second Stakes race on Sunday, 23 September when taking the Listed Landwades Stud Stakes. Run over a mile at Bro Park in Sweden, the daughter of Manduro was winning her sixth career race, taking her career prize money to over €200,000.
Bred by G Rollain, she is one of four winners bred out of the One Cool Cat mare Troiecat, including her full-sister Crown Vallary, a juvenile winner last season in France.
Manduro has now sired seven Stakes winners on the year, in seven different countries. Vazirabad remains France’s premier stayer after victories in the G2 Dubai Gold Cup and Prix Vicomtesse Viguer, three-year-old colt Pharrell landed the G3 Prix Noailles, Time To Choose has won two Stakes races in Italy, Plein Air is a Stakes-winner at Santa Anita, Square de Luynes won the Listed Norsk Derby and Duretto landed the Chester Stakes at the start of this month.
