Exceed And Excel’s two-year-old daughter Queen Of Bermuda landed her second Stakes race of the season on Saturday, 22 September when gamely landing the G3 Firth Of Clyde Stakes. Already the winner of the Listed Prix de la Vallee d’Auge in France, she asserted in the final furlong to record a two-length triumph at Ayr.
A 230,000gns Breeze-up purchase, she is the second foal of the Stakes-placed mare Imperialistic Diva, who also has a yearling filly by Exceed And Excel and a colt foal by Iffraaj.
Exceed And Excel, who is fast approaching 150 career Stakes winners, has sired 33 stakes performers in 2018 including Group winners Heavy Metal, James Garfield, Folkswood, Danawi and Degas.
