Dawn Approach has made a superb start to 2018 and on Friday, 2 February he added his fifth new winner of the year when Nomorecalls ran out the easy winner of the five-furlong novice at Lingfield.
Sent straight to the front, Nomorecalls set a blistering pace under Joe Fanning and shaken up a furlong from home, soon put the race to bed, running on well to win by two and a half lengths.
Trained by Robert Cowell and running in the colours of Mohammed Jaber, Nomorecalls is the first foal to race out of the Stakes-winning Green Desert mare Semayyel. The mare has a 2017 colt by fellow 2,000 Guineas winner Night Of Thunder.
Dawn Approach is also sire this year of multiple winners Court House, and 1,000 Guineas hopeful Morning Has Broken, who reappears at Kempton tomorrow.
Dawn Approach stands at Kildangan Stud at a fee of €20,000, October 1, Special Live Foal.
