Charming Thought has welcomed the arrival of his first reported foal, with the birth of a belting filly at Bearstone Stud on Sunday, 21 January.
The filly (pictured at 24 hours old) is out of the Namid mare Albertine Rose, a winner herself at two and who was also placed in the Listed Boshra Sham Stakes at Newmarket during her juvenile campaign.
A homebred for Gary and Lesley Middlebrook, Albertine Rose has produced three winners to date.
Charming Thought was a 625,000-guinea yearling who beat both 2,000 Guineas third Ivawood and future Champion sprinter Muhaarar to land the G1 Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket. He hails from a family packed with Black Type winners and covered a quality book of mares during his first season at stud.
Charming Thought stands at Dalham Hall Stud at a fee of £6,000, October 1, Special Live Foal and is available for breeders to view by appointment. To arrange a viewing, or to discuss sending your mare to him, contact the Nominations team on +44 1638 730070.
