Dubawi's talented four-year-old son Time Test added a fourth Group victory to his CV on 23 July when landing the ten-furlong G2 York Stakes.
Settled second from last under Pat Smullen, Time Test was still cruising as they entered the final two furlongs and despite a sustained challenge from Mondialiste in the closing stages, he battled superbly to win by three quarters of a length.
Time Test won the G3 Tercentenary Stakes at Royal Ascot last year, before landing (pictured) the G2 Joel Stakes at Newmarket in September. He returned to the racecourse in May with victory in the G3 Brigadier Gerard Stakes and was third in the G1 Eclipse earlier this month. He will now be aimed at the G1 Juddmonte International.
A Juddmonte homebred, Time Test is out of the G1-winning mare Passage Of Time (Dansili), a half-sister to fellow G1 winner Timepiece and a full sister to G2 winner Father Time.
Time Test is one of 16 individual Black type winners for Dubawi in 2016, who has no fewer than 23 G1 winners to his name. Dubawi also has more Group winners than any other stallion at the same stage in their careers.
