Four-year-old Raven’s Pass colt Greg Pass added further Black type to his record on 1 May when landing the Listed Premio Bereguardo, run over a mile in Milan.
Racing in third during the early stages, Greg Pass took up the running once entering the home straight and was never seriously challenged, eventually winning by a length and a quarter.
Greg Pass was bred by Az Agr Valdirone and is one of six winners from six foals to race out of the Stakes-placed St Jovite mare Baranja, also dam of Shamardal’s G1 performer Billy Budd.
Raven’s Pass is also sire this year of European Free Handicap winner Ibn Malik, who holds an entry in the G1 Commonwealth Cup at next month’s Royal meeting at Ascot.
