G1 glory for son of Dubawi

German-trained Red Dubawi successfully raids Italy to win the G1 Premio Vittorio di Capua

Red Dubawi, the winner of a brace of Group races last season, won his biggest career success on Sunday 27 September when taking the G1 Premio Vittorio di Capua over a mile at Milan. Trained in Germany, he was recording his first victory of the year after running with credit in Group races in his native land and France.

Bred by Haras des Sablonnets, Red Dubawi is the best runner to date out of Stakes winning mare Maredsous (Homme de Loi).

Dubawi has been enjoying a magnificent year and Red Dubawi becomes his world leading 11th winner at the highest level. After a tremendous start to the season through Hunter’s Light and Prince Bishop in Dubai, he has also sired top French three-year-olds New Bay and Erupt, King George hero Postponed, Juddmonte International Stakes heroine Arabian Queen and Lockinge Stakes winner and new Darley stallion Night Of Thunder.
