Poet's Voice was represented by another first crop winner on Friday when Voice Of Love triumphed in a 6f maiden in Rome.
Trained by Stefano Botti, the colt is a half-brother to last year’s smart juvenile Time Chant, who struck twice at Listed level as a two-year-old for Botti. Voice Of Love is out of the unraced Tale Of The Cat mare Snowfield, a half-sister to Sopran Mariduff who was placed in the G1 Oaks d’Italia.
Winner of the G2 Champagne Stakes at two, Poet’s Voice went on to prove himself top-class at a mile, winning a battle royale for the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes after also taking the G2 Celebration Mile. He stands alongside his sire Dubawi at Dalham Hall Stud.
