Dubawi’s amazing daughter Catkins recorded her 11th Stakes victory with a dominant win in the G2 Emancipation Stakes at Rosehill, March 28.
Once again sent out a short-priced favourite, Catkins settled outside the leader in the early stages and didn’t give her supporters a moment’s worry, accelerating clear of her rivals in the straight to record a two-length triumph.
Bred by Owen Carter, Catkins is the second foal from Catbird mare Salix Caprea, a half-sister to Stakes winner Rally.
Dubawi has enjoyed a tremendous start to 2015, siring seven Stakes winners led by G1 winners Hunter’s Light and Shamal Wind. He is standing the current season at Dalham Hall Stud at a fee of £125,000 alongside his G1 winning son Poet's Voice (£12,000 Oct 1st, SLF).
