Willow Magic in Dingaans glory

Son of Dubawi wins his second Group race

Dubawi's G1-winning South African juvenile Willow Magic, gained his first Group victory as a three-year-old on Saturday November 30 when taking the G2 Dingaans over a mile at Turffontein. The winner of the G1 South African Nursery last season, today was his tenth start and he has never been out of the money.

Bred in Australia by Rothwell Park, Willow Magic is one of three winners bred by the Stakes-placed Teirce mare La Willow.

Dubawi, who will cover for £100,000 Oct 1st, SLF in 2014, has enjoyed a tremendous season, siring 17 individual Group winners including the four at the top level. Willow Magic is one of these, alongside triple top-flight scorer Al Kazeem, Dubai winner Hunter's Light and top sprinter Lucky Nine.
