Regarde Moi lands Listed Premio Natale di Roma
King’s Best’s four-year-old son Regarde Moi recorded his second win at Black type level on 22 April, when landing the Listed Premio Natale di Roma, run over a mile in Rome.
Settled just off the early pace, the Stefano Botti-trained colt quickened once entering the home straight and battled impressively in the closing stages to win by a short head from G2 horse Ransom Hope.
Regarde Moi won the Listed Premio Nearco at three, and was also fourth in the G2 Premio Ribot. He has now won on six occasions and been placed a further three times. Bred by Soc. Finanza Locale Consulting Srl, Regarde Moi is one of three winners out of the Night Shift mare Life At Night, a half-sister to multiple Group winner and G1 Prix de la Foret second Missed Flight.
King’s Best has now sired five Black type performers this year, including the very promising Kesampour, and last weekend’s G3 Ballysax Stakes second Call To Battle, who found only Light Heavy (Teofilo) too good for him that day.
King’s Best stands at Haras du Logis in France at a fee of €12,000 October 1st Special live foal.
