Fast from the gates from a bad draw, Sepoy’s juvenile filly Dubai Elegance never saw another rival when breaking her maiden at Chelmsford on Saturday 22 October. Coming into the race on the back of an excellent debut third at Doncaster back in June, she was easily the best, running all the way to the line to win well by two lengths.
Bred by Glebe Stud and J. F. Dean and a 200,000 gns yearling, she is a daughter of the three-time winner Some Sunny Day, a half-sister to three Stakes winners including the Champion Sprinter Sakhee’s Secret.
Sepoy has been enjoying a tremendous end of the season with his 15 winners including the Stakes-winning fillies Kilmah and Baileys Showgirl, G1 Prix Marcel Boussac third Dabyah and the Stakes-performing duo Unforgettable Filly and Executive Force.
