Val Nanda became the latest Stakes winner for her sire, new Darley recruit Fast Company, when triumphing in the five furlong Listed Premio Alessandro Perrone in Rome on Thursday.
Now unbeaten in two starts, Val Nanda made a winning debut in Milan nearly three weeks ago. Trained by Cristiana Signorelli, the filly was bred in Ireland and purchased by New Racing Factory as a yearling at Goffs. Her half-sister Cherie Good was also a Stakes winner in Italy, while their dam, the Xaar mare Kristal Xena, was a winner in Ireland.
Fast Company is enjoying a great start to 2016, headed by his daughters Jet Setting, who landed the Irish 1,000 Guineas, and Devonshire, who won the G2 Ridgewood Pearl Stakes. The pair gave their sire a memorable big-race double at the Curragh ten days ago.
Fast Company will stand at Kildangan Stud in Ireland from 2017.
