First-season sire sensation Night Of Thunder enjoyed a superb Saturday, 5 October when siring a treble in three different countries.
In Germany, No Limit Credit became winner number 25 for her sire when landing the valuable sales race at Dortmund.
Placed on her first three starts, the Gestut Karlshof-bred filly had little trouble in winning the €52,000 contest by six lengths.
Under The Stars’s biggest day so far was at Ascot when landing the G3 Princess Margaret Stakes, and she added to her winners tally when dropping down in class to win the £150,000 Tattersalls sales race at Newmarket. She has now won half of her six starts and has run with credit in G1 or G2 contests on her previous three runs, never being beaten more than two lengths.
In France, Thunderspeed doubled his number of victories when an easy triumph over 2000m at Angers. The Ecurie Gribomont-bred colt, who gained Black Type at Vichy in August, won by a length while giving weight to his six rivals.
Night Of Thunder has a winners to runners ratio of 66%, a number unmatched by any first-season sire in Europe.
