Time To Choose, who enjoyed a brilliant 2017 when winning three Stakes races including the G2 Premio Presidente della Repubblica, started his season off in tremendous fashion when taking the Listed Premio Natale di Roma. The son of Manduro, who has now won nine times in 15 career starts, led home Raven’s Pass’s consistent son Greg Pass by two-and-a-half lengths in the one-mile Rome contest.
Bred by Razza del Velino SRL, Time To Choose is a son of the Stakes-placed Orpen mare Penfection, who has produced three Stakes performers including Baby Revolution and Belly To Belly (Dubawi).
Manduro, who is covering this season at a fee of €7,000, is the sire of six G1 winners including star stayer Vazirabad, the record-breaking victor of his third G2 Dubai Gold Cup last week at Meydan and French juvenile winners Ultra and Mandaean.
