Tenth winner for Teofilo

Al Mahmeyah lands six-furlong fillies’ maiden

The May-foaled Al Mahmeyah became the tenth winner for her first-season sire Teofilo when getting off the mark at Kempton over six furlongs on Friday.

Trained by Richard Hannon, the filly was bred by Windymains Farm Ltd and is a daughter of the Indian Ridge mare Aguilas Pearl.

A top-class two-year-old himself, Teofilo is also the sire of Group Three winner Remember Alexander and Listed winner Teolane, plus the Group Two-placed Parish Hall, who is rated 108 by Timeform.
