The European flat turf season may be drawing to a close, but there are still Stakes races to be won and the Darley sires ensured their tally of Black Type winners continued to rise on Sunday, 27 October with Listed win in Germany and Italy for Dubawi and Farhh respectively.
Further afield, Teofilo sired a Listed winner in Japan, while first-season sires French Navy and Outstrip each added new winners to their records.
Nashirah (Dubawi) came with an impressive late run on the rail to land the seven-furlong Grosser Preis des Gestüts Röttgen at Hannover. This was the first victory at Stakes level for the three-year-old filly, who was also second in this year’s UAE 1,000 Guineas Trial.
In Rome, Farhh’s consistent three-year-old son Blue Sky Dreamer added a third career win and a first Black Type victory to his record, sweeping home at Rome to win the Premio Conte Felice Scheibler in Rome. Bred by Pitt Bloodstock Ltd, he is out of the Teofilo mare Roze Kazan. Just last weekend, Farhh (pictured) sire a well-deserved first G1 winner, when King Of Change landed the QEII Stakes on Champions Day.
Teofilo also had is name on the board as a sire on Sunday, when Territorial ran out the brave winner of the Listed Cassiopeia Stakes, run over nine furlongs at Kyoto, Japan.
There were also winners for first-season sires French Navy and Outstrip, as Opasan and Regina Maria each won their races at Bratislava.
