Jaber Abdullah’s Star Now became the sixth winner for her sire Librettist when landing the six-furlong maiden by three and a quarter lengths at Brighton on Tuesday.
The filly, who was bred by Baydon House Stud out of the Tate Gallery mare Affair Of State, won in taking fashion on her first racecourse outing, dominating the latter stages of the race.
She joins Major Conquest and Libranno, rated 92 and 90p respectively by Timeform, among Librettist’s winners this season, while Da Ponte was another new winner on Sunday.
