Three-year-old Teofilo filly Tantheem added a second Group victory to her record in dominant fashion on Sunday, 26 August when making all to win the G3 Prix de Meautry, run over six furlongs at Deauville.
Sent straight to the front under jockey Aurelien Lemaitre, Tantheem was in command throughout and once asked to quicken for home, eased clear to win by three and a half lengths.
Tantheem has now won on three occasions, having broken her maiden by four and a half lengths at two, before winning the Prix de Cabourg (now part of the Darley Series) on her next start.
A homebred for Shadwell Stud, Tantheem is the second winner out of the Stakes-placed Dubawi mare Riqa. They are from the family of multiple G1 winner Tamayuz.
Teofilo has now sired 16 individual Black Type winners this year, headed by G1 winner Happy Clapper and G2-winning duo Humidor and Diplomat.
