Fast Company’s star Chilean performer Robert Bruce maintained his unbeaten record in style on Sunday 6 August when running away with the G1 Clasico Polla de Potrillos. An unbeaten juvenile last season which culminated in a triumph in the G1 Clasico Alberto Vial Infante, he was making his three-year-old bow and ran on superbly to record a five-and-a-half length triumph. In a banner race for Fast Company, his son Caramboleado ran on well to finish second to give his sire a notable one-two.
Robert Bruce was bred by Haras Convento Viejo and is out of G1 winner Lady Pelusa (Orpen).
Fast Company is the sire of six individual Group winners, headed by G1 Irish 1,000 Guineas heroine Jet Setting and G2 winners Devonshire, Baitha Alga and El Notario. This season his daughter Penny Pepper landed the G3 Ballyogan Stakes at the Curragh.
