Purple patch continues for Dubawi
Dubawi’s runners are certainly flying at the moment and he recorded his fourth Stakes winner in just two days on 27 October when his three-year-old daughter Nausica Time stormed to a five-length win in the Listed Grosser Preis Campanologis at Hannover.
Sent straight to the front, she dictated the pace throughout the 11-furlong contest and although for a moment it looked as though Elle Same would pass her in the home straight, she responded brilliantly and skipped clear to win easily.
Nausica Time is out of the winning Daylami mare Namat, a half-sister to two Stakes performers and from the family of four-time G1 winner Ibn Bey and Yorkshire Oaks winner Roseate Tern.
Dubawi has now sired no fewer than 26 Stakes winners this year alone, including four G1 winners. Yesterday he was responsible for three Stakes winners, with Catkins landing a Group race in Australia, followed by a pair of juvenile Stakes wins in the UK courtesy of Night Of Thunder and Piping Rock who landed the Doncaster Stakes and G3 Horris Hill Stakes respectively.
