Darley first-season sire Dubawi took his number of winners into double figures in outstanding style on 24 July when Admire The View took the juvenile fillies’ maiden at Thirsk by seven lengths.
Settled in second position, the David Lanigan-trained filly travelled superbly under jockey Neil Callan and when asked to quicken two furlongs from home, drew clear of her rivals in a matter of strides. Opening up a wide margin, Admire The View was eased down crossing the line but nonetheless recorded a decent time of 1:28.25 for the seven furlongs – almost half a second faster than the maiden for older horses run earlier on the same card.
Admire The View, who was bred by Mountgrange Stud, T Stewart and A Stroud, is out of the Stakes-winning Highest Honor mare Miss Honorine. Purchased for 55,000 guineas at last year’s Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, she now races in the colours of Saif Ali and Saeed H Altayer.
