Fast Company recorded a new Black Type winner on Saturday, 11 May when his son Safe Voyage was victorious in the seven-furlong Spring Trophy Stakes at Haydock.
John Quinn’s charge was settled towards the rear of the field early on and did not enjoy the clearest of runs once the field began to quicken for home. Once finding daylight however, he showed an impressive turn of foot to take the lead inside the final furlong and won by a length and a quarter. This was his sixth career victory.
Safe Voyage was bred by Scheider Adolf and is the best performer to date out of the Stakes-placed Mujadil mare Shisangaan.
Fast Company is also sire of G1 Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Jet Setting, plus 2018 G1 Arlington Million hero Robert Bruce, who has no fewer than five victories at the highest level to his name.
Fast Company stands at Kidangan Stud at a fee of €12,000, Oct 1, SLF.
