French raider Everest Rose, a three-year-old daughter of Dubawi, gained a valuable first Stakes victory on Sunday, 2 October when landing the Listed Schloss Roland Stutenpreis. Run over 1400m at Düsseldorf, the Henri-Alex Pantall-trained filly wasn’t hard pressed to win by two lengths.
Bred by the G.B. Partnership, Everest Rose is a daughter of the Stakes-winning mare Dubai Rose, who has already produced the multiple G2-winning filly The Juliet Rose.
Everest Rose’s Stakes victory takes Dubawi on to 39 individual Stakes winners for 2022, a personal record for a calendar year. Seven have won at the highest level at a variety of distances including sprinter (Naval Crown), miler (Modern Games and Coroebus), middle distance (Rebel’s Romance), and stayer (Eldar Eldarov).
