Three-year-old Dawn Approach colt Dadoozdart recorded his third straight victory in fine style on Saturday, 12 October, successfully stepping up to Black Type company in the Martin Moloney Stakes at Limerick.
Noel Meade’s charge led early on in the 12-furlong contest, before being settled in third under Chris Hayes. Taking up the running two furlongs from home, Dadoozdart was hard pressed by Riven Light (Raven’s Pass) close to home but rallied well to win by a length and half.
Dadoozdart is out of the Bernardini mare Hairpin, a half-sister to G1 Dewhurst winner Intense Focus, plus the dam of G1 Moyglare Stud Stakes winner Skitter Scatter.
Dawn Approach is also sire this year of Derby third Madhmoon, Stakes-winning duo Dawn Passage and Diamond Thunder, plus G1 Prix Vermeille second Musis Amica.
